Membership details

Members are the core of the SOFI initiative.  SOFI offers three levels of Membership.  Membership fees support SOFI’s operations and provide funding for translational research across institutions, industry, and government.  Members have access to the top experts in the field, to an interactive exchange of ideas across a wide spectrum of technologies ranging from catalysis to light capture to energy, and to a dedicated SOFI management team positioned to identify opportunities for technology acceleration, expanded research revenue streams for Members, and advocacy.

SOFI Membership Levels:

Core Member - Industry & Academic
Supporting Member - Industry
Supporting Member - Academic (e.g. research centers, national labs, universities)
Participating Member * (non-profit, e.g. individual researchers/groups)

* Persons or groups applying to become Participating Members must be sponsored by a Core or Supporting Member.  All licensing fees to the collaborative tools are to be covered by the Participating Member, and access is limited to the SOFI-funded project areas.
