Collaborative Events

Participants at the Launch Meeting in Telluride, CO took part in SOFI’s first collaborative ideation event where they generated 60 collaborative project ideas using a simple web-based platform; this process was stimulating, fun, and provided a blueprint for SOFI’s collaborative platform.  These collaborative projects will be refined through discussions between the project PIs, SOFI Management, and TWG expert members.  SOFI’s Management Team will also ensure that prospective members who were absent at SOFI’s Launch event will be provided with the opportunity to submit their projects for the current grant cycle.  Future SOFI events will be hosted by individual TWGs with support from SOFI Management. These events could take the form of physical meetings, conferences, webinars, and additional creative uses of SOFI collaborative tools.
